The Great Celebrity Bake Off has become an unmissable TV event. Big names from the worlds of acting, comedy, entertainment and sport attempt to impress judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith with their cake-making skills in the pressure-filled tent.
Each episode of the celebrity special sees four big names battle it out over three rounds – the Signature, then Technical and the Showstopper – in a bid to be crowned Star Baker.
This year, Leith and Hollywood will be back to judge each celeb's bake, and host Matt Lucas will be on hand to provide some extra entertainment and some kind words to keep the stressed out bakers going throughout the show.
The series is in aid of Stand Up To Cancer, a joint national fundraising campaign from Cancer Research UK and Channel 4 that brings the UK together to speed up progress in life-saving research. Since its launch in the UK in 2012, the RTS award-winning and BAFTA nominated Stand Up To Cancer has raised over £62 million funding 55 clinical trials and projects involving 11,000 cancer patients across the country.
