Cheers! Catherine Fulvio takes a tour of Boston's food scene

Catherine Fulvio returns with a brand new series of one of Ireland's most heart-warming shows, Tastes like Home. Every year, the Wicklow woman travels around the world to visit Ireland's diaspora and serve them up a taste of home, with the methods and recipes used in their family home.

In tonight's episode, our host travels to Oulart, Co. Wexford to meet Marian Sinnott at Tulach a'tSolais, Oulart Hill which was built to commemorate The Battle of Oulart Hill which took place during the 1798 rebellion.

Marian tells Catherine about her daughter Sarah-Jo, who now lives and works in Boston and is in need of a taste of home. She teaches Catherine how to make her daughter's favourite dish, Chicken Paprika. Catherine then travels to Boston in the hopes of replicating the dish to bring a taste of home to Sarah-Jo.

While visiting the States, Catherine visits the iconic Cheers Pub on Beacon Hill, previously known as the Bull & Finch Pub, where she gets to experience Oyster Happy Hour in Boston’s Marliave Restaurant, as well as walking the famous grounds of the prestigious Harvard University where Sarah-Jo worked.
