Avocado has become the trendy staple in our food diet over the past couple of years. They're filled with all the nutrients such as potassium, fiber, antioxidants and many more.
While we can't get enough of this healthy little vegetable, we can often find ourselves in the middle of the supermarket rooting and rubbing for the right one. It's very hard to come across an avocado that's not very hard.
Not only is it tastier and easier to eat when it's softened, but it also makes the peeling process much easier too.
We tend to buy an unripened one with the hope of it going soft, however, sometimes it's too late. By the time the avocado has gone soft, it has already started to rot.
This simple little trick allows for the avocado to go soft without having to wait until it turns black and inedible.
You no longer have to wait for your daily dose of avo. A quick cook in the oven will solve the problem and I say bravocado!
