Jean-Christophe Novelli revealed his top tip for a perfect and safe barbecue:

Barbecue is fantastic, you know, it's an alternative to enjoy yourself, if there are the right conditions outside.

My tip, I believe, whatever if you are a novice or an expert cook, is to pre-cook your meat, and especially pre-cook your white meat, chickens and so on.

Because what you want is the final grilling of the barbecue, to give that fantastic aromatic chargrill flavor. That's it.

Chef Jean-Christophe Novelli added something about the micro-wave, even him uses it:

It's very similar to a micro-wave, I will not use the micro-wave to cook, but, I will use the micro-wave to warm up something.

Therefore you get a flavor, a smell, and people are not waiting too long to get something cooked.
