If you're into hearty grub with buckets of flavour, then Juniors Deli & Café is sure to impress. The Bath Avenue institution has been serving up jumbo sandwiches, top-notch brunch and mouthwatering evening meals since 2008.

If you go there any weekday at lunchtime, you'll be queuing out the door to get a taste of their famous sandwiches, which come on thick-cut breads and are packed with deli meats such as pastrami, chorizo, honey-glazed ham or parma ham. Get there early if you want to bag one of their daily specials - the meatball sub always flies out the door.

Their brunch menu is equally as hearty - packed with favourites such as Baked Nachos, Crab Cakes, Eggs Benedict and a perennial favourite, the Breakfast of Champions. If you manage to clear the plate you'll be doing well.

But it's their dinner offerings that constantly impress - with daily specials, often perfectly cooked fish dishes, sitting beside their stalwarts - Clam Linguini, Beef Tagliata, Dry-Aged Ribeye with Mash and Bangers & Mash.

My absolute top recommendation is the Pint O'Prawns. This epic starter is €12 and easily satisfies two hungry customers the evening myself and my partner visited. This simple but incredibly tasty dish was the reason I began to eat prawns, and now it's one of my favourite dishes to eat here. The jumbo Dublin Bay prawns are served with homemade mayo, chargrilled sourdough and a wedge of lemon for the ultimate taste sensation.

Their Dry-Aged Ribeye served with Mash, Green Beans and Gravy is another hit - a perfectly juicy chargrilled steak, deliciously pink in the middle, served up with a generous portion of creamy mashed potato. It never disappoints.

Make sure to save some room for dessert if you visit Juniors, as their dessert options are top-notch. Star of the show is the New York Baked Cheesecake served with berry compote. It's a pleasingly creamy cheesecake that is perfectly complimented by the tangy berries. Divine.

If you're in the mood for something that errs even more on the side of decadence, then the Chocolate Tart is the one to go for. This basically tastes like a fancy Snickers bar in dessert form - a crumbly shortcake base hosts a layer of caramel and toasted peanuts, with a rich chocolate ganache topping.
