Two more contestants left the MasterChef Ireland kitchen in the third heat of the show on RTÉ One on Tuesday night, as judges Dylan McGrath and Nick Munier continued to whittle down the numbers as they search to complete the final 10.

The two amateur chefs whose participation in the competition came to an end were Kerri Ward and Michael Corr.

In Wednesday night's show on RTÉ One at 8:30pm, Liam Murray, Darina Coffey, Edel Byrne and Nessa Collinge will try to secure their place in the final 10 of the competition.

Darina and Nessa will be working a busy lunch service in Town restaurant in Dublin, with Edel and Liam working in the city's Fallon & Byrne.
