Three more people were selected last night to join the final ten in this year’s search to find Ireland’s MasterChef.

Hugh Mullan, Diana Dodog and Mark McGrath were selected by judges Dylan McGrath and Nick Munier to proceed in the competition.

The three alongside Bill Gunter were last night thrown into the deep end during gruelling lunch services in two of Dublin’s top restaurants, The Winding Stair and Brasserie Le Pont.

They then returned to the MasterChef kitchen to face one further challenge, The Key Ingredient where Bill’s take on a seared rib eye of beef fajita was not enough to see him through to the final ten.

After leaving the kitchen Bill said “I learned an awful lot in the kitchen, I know I can do things, I didn’t know I could do! Food is a great love of mine and a huge part of my life.”

The show returns next Tuesday to RTÉ One at 8.30pm for another round of heats.
