CMAT made a dazzling entrance at the Ivor Novello Awards 2026 wearing a multicoloured gown and some bold accessories.
The Bray native is among a bevy of musicians nominated at tonight's award ceremony, which celebrates songwriting and composing. Now in its 71st year, the awards are held in Grosvenor House, London and will see international stars such as Rosalia, Linda Perry and more walk the red carpet.
The singer-songwriter, who's real name is Ciara Mary-Alice Thompson, is nominated in the Best Album category for Euro Country, a lauded work which produced viral songs such as 'Take a Sexy Picture of Me' and 'The Jamie Oliver Petrol Station'. It also won the RTÉ Choice Music Prize Album of the Year Award earlier this month.

This is CMAT's second time being nominated in this category, having been honoured in 2024 for her ablum Crazymad, For Me.
For tonight's ceremony, the singer stepped out in a jaw-dropping full length gown by Ashish, made from tiers of ruffles sheer fabric in a dazzling mix of clashing colours and patterns. She paired it with mid-calf-length black strappy platform boots by Marc Jacobs, sourced from The Arc London, that contrasted the bright femininity of her gown.
She finished her look with tinted sunglasses by Gentle Monster, statement earrings and jewellery by Dinosaur Designs, a Stella McCartney handbag and a dark nude lip.
Elsewhere on the red carpet, Rosalía wore a structured black midi gown featuring a wide off-the-shoulder neckline and draped pockets on the hips.
Sophie Ellis-Bextor wore a feminine look, pairing a peach blouse with a floral collar and a matching mini skirt.
