The Cannes Film Festival has kicked off with a bevvy of celebrities, including some exceptionally stylish red carpet appearances from Irish-Ethiopian star Ruth Negga.
The Oscar-nominated actress wore a custom gown from Christian Dior - designed under the creative direction of Derry's Jonathan Anderson.
Negga will be working alongside her fellow jury members Stellan Skarsgård, Diego Céspedes, Laura Wandel, Demi Moore, Chloé Zhao, Isaach de Bankolé, Paul Laverty, and jury president Park Chan-wook throughout the festival, which means we have many more looks to look forward to.
Established in 1946, the Cannes film festival is one of the most watched events in the celebrity and fashion calendar, with some of fashion history's most memorable looks appearing on the steps of the Palais des Festivals.
Running this year from Tuesday, 12 May - Saturday, 23 May - the celebrations are expected to welcome a star-studded guest list, including Irish celebrities Ruth Negga, Barry Keoghan, and Michael Fassbender.
Reality-star Higgins attended the festival as a guest of beauty brand L'Oréal, while podcaster Vogue Williams attended as a guest of Nespresso.
Higgins walked the red carpet of La Vénus Electrique, dazzling in an Andrew Kwon gown, while Williams shone in Rebecca Vallance at the screening of El Ser Querid.
Dubliner Barry Keoghan made his third return to Cannes with Kantemir Balagov's Butterfly Jam.
The film opened Directors' Fortnight, and will be followed by Clio Barnard's I See Buildings Fall Like Lightning, which stars Anthony Boyle, Lola Petticrew and Daryl McCormack.
Irish documentary Tin Castle will receive its World Premiere in Semaine de la Critique (Critics’ Week), while Irish filmmaker Mark Cousins will present his latest feature documentary, The Story of Documentary Film (The 1970s), in the Cannes Classics lineup.

Irish actor Michael Fassbender appeared to promote his work on NA Hong-Jin's Hope, while a selection of Irish talent is expected to appear to support Ancestors and Daughter of Eden.
Additionally, Ireland-based model and actress Maksuda Akhter was spotted on the red carpet, flying the flag for Irish designer Fiona Rafter at the opening ceremony. The custom-made headpiece was paired with matching jewellery and a bag by the same designer.
Higgins made a dazzling return to the festival on Thursday 21 May, attending the amfAR Gala wearing a custom baby pink gown by Georges Chakra. The form-fitting design featured a cinched waist, sculpted bust and a voluminous bustle.

The soon-to-be Dancing with the Stars contestant was rubbing shoulders with presenter and model Rosalind Lipsett, who wore a dazzling chartreuse gown by Fouad Sarkis for Ornelys Couture.

Lola Petticrew and Anthony Boyle were repping Belfast on the same night, attending the premiere of I See Buildings Fall Like Lightning at the storied festival. The film, directed by Clio Barnard and based on the novel of the same name by Kieran Goddard, follows five friends who grew up together in Birmingham, who face tragedy and change at the end of their 20s.
Petticrew wore a dazzling look by Vivienne Westwood, stepping out in a sheer ruffled black dress with a polka dot pattern.
Boyle, meanwhile, went for Old Hollywood cool, wearing a suave navy double-breasted blazer and dark trousers for the premiere.
He later changed to a black satin tuxedo for the amfAR Gala, putting a spin on the traditional red carpet attire and accessorising with a black bow tie.

Ruth Negga closed out the ceremony with an extra special nod to Irish design, wearing a white floral embroidered gown by Christian Dior, designed by Derry-born designer Jonathan Anderson.
The ethereal gown featured a strapless bodice, a tiered peplum hem at the hips and a form-fitting skirt. Styled by Karla Welch, she wore a matching white choker and white platform heels.
