Derry designer Jonathan Anderson has once again joined forces with Guinness to deliver a coveted clothing collection.

Following the resounding success of their inaugural 2024 collaboration, driven by overwhelming consumer demand, Guinness and JW Anderson today unveil a 17-piece collection.

Founder of the JW Anderson fashion brand and artistic director of French fashion house Dior, the Magherfelt native's career has skyrocketed as of late, but it seems he plans to continue his ties with Ireland and its iconography.

Inspired by the intricacy of the brewing process, the brand's own archives, celebrated vintage advertising, and the quintessential Irish pub atmosphere.

This new chapter offers a modern reinterpretation of Guinness' story and heritage through JW Anderson’s distinctive sartorial lens, seamlessly melding utility with luxury.

The range includes denim workwear directly inspired by vintage brewery uniforms and a white shirt drawing from the archives, featuring a poem first printed in a 1938 Guinness advertisement.

Bespoke towelling reimagines the traditional beer mat, transforming this recognisable pub texture into refined pieces like the distinctive towelling jacket and shorts, offering tactile, unexpected luxury.

Jonathan Anderson commented on the collection: "I've always been fascinated by the graphic language of Guinness — it’s so immediate, so culturally loaded, yet incredibly refined. For me, this collaboration felt like an opportunity to take that heritage and recontextualise it through the craft-led lens that defines JW Anderson today."

Fronted by Joe Alwyn and Little Simz, the second collaboration will be available in limited quantities.
