The 2026 SAG Awards have made a splash on the awards season calendar, switching up their name and adding a brand new dress code.
In November 2025, Vanity Fair revealed that the annual awards show, which has been honouring performers in film and television since 1995, will now be known as the Actor Awards, presented by SAG-AFTRA.
Taking place in the Shrine Auditorium & Expo Hall in Los Angeles, the ceremony is set to present 15 awards in TV and film tonight as voted by SAG-AFTRA's membership of 160,000+ performers.
Tonight, the 32nd Annual Actor Awards will be hosted by actress and producer Kristen Bell, and will welcome celebrity presenters including Allison Janney, Benicio del Toro, Chase Infiniti, Claire Danes, Connor Storrie, Gwyneth Paltrow, Jacob Elordi, and Irish woman Jessie Buckley.
This year's red carpet will be an exceptional sight thanks to a brand new rule.
For the first time, the event comes with a dress code: "Reimagining Hollywood Glamour from the '20s and ‘30s."
