The 2026 Baftas took place this afternoon at Royal Festival Hall, in London's Southbank Centre, and will see stars such as Jessie Buckley, Paul Mescal and Cillian Murphy attend the dazzling awards ceremony.
Always a star-studded event, the Baftas promise a glamorous red carpet, as some of the biggest names in the film industry and more strut their stuff in the lead-up to the Oscars.
Scottish actor Alan Cumming will host the ceremony, which airs at 7pm on Sunday 22 February on BBC One.
Even with such a stackd guest list - including Leonardo DiCaprio, Timothée Chalamet, Ethan Hawke and Michael B Jordan - Irish eyes will be on Buckley, however, as she could make history for Ireland at the event for her role in Hamnet.
A win would see her become the first Irish performer to receive the award for best actress at the Baftas.
Irish filmmaker Myrid Carten and producers Ed Guiney and Andrew Lowe are also confirmed to be attending.
One Battle After Another leads the nominations with 14, followed closely by Sinners with 13, while Marty Supreme and Hamnet picked up 11 nominations.
