For the world premiere of Wuthering Heights, the highly anticipated film reimagining the tempestuous relationship between Catherine 'Cathy' Earnshaw and Heathcliff written by Emily Brontë, Margot Robbie made sure to communicate through her outfit just how thorny and passionate that pairs relationship will be in Emerald Fennell's retelling.
The film, starring Robbie as Cathy and Jacob Elordi as Heathcliff, has already set hearts racing with its sultry trailers and a moving soundtrack by Charli XCX, but for Robbie, there's another story to tell through fashion, which she is gamely taking on with the help of her stylist Andrew Mukamal.

Having collaborated on the star's Barbie press tour, where each appearance included ever more ambitious and delightful homages to the famous toy, the pair are back at it, with Robbie already turning heads with her gothic ensembles.
Last night, however, she made headlines for stepping out in a hugely significant piece of jewellery: Elizabeth Taylor's Taj Mahal diamond necklace.
Worn with a breathtaking Sciaparelli couture gown, the diamond is set in a heart-shaped pendant, mounted in jade with a custom gold, ruby and diamond chain. Originally gifted to Nur Jahan from her husband, the Mughal Emperor, Shah Jahangir, the necklace bears Jahan's name as well as an inscription in Parsee that reads 'Love is Everlasting'.
In 1972, after being passed down to the Emperor's son and then acquired by Cartier, Richard Burton surprised his then-wife Taylor with the monumental piece, in honour of her 40th birthday. It was later sold for $8.8 million in December 2011 as part of a larger sale of Taylor's estate, following the Hollywood legend's death earlier that year.
The connection between Burton and Taylor and Cathy and Heathcliff is a natural one for any fans of Old Hollywood: the A-list couple's affair was epically tumultuous, having started as an affair on the set of the film Cleopatra and ending with not one, but two ill-fated marriages.
Known for their fiery dynamic both on- and off-screen, Taylor and Burton are still remembered as two people drawn to each other endlessly despite all obstacles and difficulties, which makes this a perfect homage for Wuthering Heights.
