Cillian Murphy made a stylish return to the red carpet last night, stepping out for the world premiere of 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple at London's BFI IMAX Waterloo last night.

More than 20 years after his breakout role in 28 Days Later, Danny Boyle's 2002 dystopian classic, Murphy attended the premiere not only as a star (with a minor role in this film building to a larger starring role in the third instalment) but as an executive producer.

The Bone Temple follows the events of 28 Years Later, which was released in summer 2025 and starred Ralph Fiennes, Aaron Taylor Johnson and Jodie Comer. Cillian stars alongside Alfie Williams, Emma Laird, Jack O'Connell and more in the latest film.

With lashing rain pummelling the premiere, Cillian bundled up in a stylish ensemble, wearing a dark grey double-breasted suit by Anglo Italian, a tailoring company known for their elegant designs. Styled by Rose Forde as always, Murphy paired this with a black turtleneck and black shoes, finishing his look with jewellery by Omega.

Elsewhere co-star Jack O'Connell wore an eye-catching blue suit, while Emma Laird wore a dazzling blue ruffled gown and Erin Kellyman opted for a slinky gold gown.
