Aimee Connolly, Niamh McCormack and more Irish stars stepped out in style for the 2025 Glamour Women of the Year Awards last night, flying the flag for Irish talent across the pond.
Now in its 19th year, the annual award show was held at 180 Studios in London and was hosted by BBC Radio 1's Vick Hope. The event celebrates the women who have "defined the last 12 months (and beyond)", the publication says, from activists and actors to entrepreneurs and musicians.
The ceremony featured figures from music, television, film, and sport, all of whom have used their platforms to champion female empowerment this year.
Those honoured on the night were actress Demi Moore (who wasn't able to attend), the Sugababes, model Adwoa Aboah, actress and singer Rachel Zegler, athlete Hannah Hampton, singer Tyla and nine members of the trans community, or 'the dolls'.
There was as much talent represented in the guest list as on the list of winners, as a star-studded crowd attended the event.
Among them was our own Aimee Connolly, founder of Irish makeup and beauty brand Sculpted by Aimee, which reported a whopping €3.4 million in profit for last year.
Connolly stepped out wearing a stunning black lace gown, with a sheer panel on the waist, a halter-style neck and a form-fitting skirt.
House of Guinness actress Niamh McCormack looked effortlessly chic in an ensemble by Burberry. Styled by Oisín Boyd, the model and actress wore a pale blue satin slip skirt, a black jacket and pumps in the iconic Burberry plaid pattern.
Of course, as Editor-in-Chief of Glamour US, Cork woman Samantha Barry made a dazzling appearance on the night, wearing a gold Oscar de la Renta gown made from layers of delicate fan-shaped panels.
Sugababes, led by Irish singer Siobhán Donaghy, made a bold statement with their looks, with Mutya Buena wearing a corseted blazer mini dress and thigh-high boots and Keisha Buchanan wearing a black strapless mini dress with crystal embellishments.
Donaghy, meanwhile, wore a stunning black ribbon dress by Irish designer Simone Rocha. Styled by Neil Stuart, she wore a padlocked chain belt also by Rocha around her waist, and added black beaded hair slides and earrings by Rocha too.
She finished her look with polka dot tights by Calzedonia and stiletto heels by Balenciaga.
