Paul Mescal and Jessie Buckley dazzled at the premiere of their new film Hamnet, which took place at the Toronto Film Festival last night.
The Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) is an annual celebration of international and Canadian cinema, and draws an impressive A-list crowd every year.
Now in its 50th year, the annual festival is arguably more relaxed than many award ceremonies, and the TIFF red carpet has been buzzing with standout looks.
The film, which was adapted from Maggie O'Farrell's novel of the same name and follows William (Mescal) and Agnes (Buckley) Shakespeare as they grieve the death of their son, was presented to critics at the Roy Thomson Hall.
The leading stars made a glamorous appearance at the event, both stepping out in monochromatic outfits.
Mescal, styled as always by Felicity Kay, wore a sleek black suit by Casely-Hayford, a made-to-measure and ready-to-wear tailors based in London that prioritises slow fashion.
He paired this with a cream shirt that was left unbuttoned at the neck, an eye-catching gold Cartier brooch in the shape of a safety pin on one lapel and a thin gold necklace. He completed his look with a striking watching and shoes by Jimmy Choo.
Buckley, meanwhile, oozed old school glamour in a two-piece look, pairing an off-the-shoulder two-tone cream and black top with classic black trousers.
She accessorised her look with black stiletto heels and a statement gold necklace designed to look like tassels.
