Chloe Malle has been announced as the new Head of Editorial Content at American Vogue.
The current editor of Vogue.com and co-host of The Run-Through, Vogue's weekly fashion and culture podcast, Malle has been rumoured to take the top spot since Wintour announced she was stepping down this past June.

Rather than taking the title of editor-in-chief, though, Malle will be 'head of editorial content', and will report to Wintour, who plans to retain her position as Global Editorial Director of Vogue and Chief Content Officer of parent company, Condé Nast.
"Fashion and media are both evolving at breakneck speed, and I am so thrilled—and awed—to be part of that," Malle told Vogue. "I also feel incredibly fortunate to still have Anna just down the hall as my mentor."
Wintour, who held the iconic role for 37 years, told employees that when it came to filling the position, she wanted to focus on the company's "multifaceted growth across its global audiences and publications and events like the Met Gala and Vogue World".

New York-born Malle began working at the fashion publication in 2011, first as an Editor in the features department, then as a Contributing Editor, making her name through wedding and social coverage.
She went on to edit the Flash section covering weddings, homes, parties and travel, the Met Gala special issues and a number of Vogue books, including Vogue Weddings: Brides, Dresses, Designers and Vogue Living: Country, City, Coast.
According to her staff bio, she has two small children, one large dog and "can rank the best croissants in the five boroughs".
Speaking on the appointment, she said: "I've spent my career at Vogue working in roles across every platform—from print to digital, audio to video, events and social media. I love the title, I love the content we create, and I love the editors who create it. Vogue has already shaped who I am, now I’m excited at the prospect of shaping Vogue."
