Irish actress Eve Hewson made a dazzling appearance on the Venice Film Festival red carpet, turning heads in a dramatic black ballgown.
The Venice Film Festival, the oldest such festival in the world, kicked off this week with a dazzling red carpet, with stars like Cate Blanchett, Tilda Swinton and more still to come.
Taking place from 27 August to 6 September, the annual event is a highlight for the entertainment industry, and also for fashion fans, as a bevvy of stylish celebs strut down the red carpet in ever more eye-catching designs.
Having made her stylish arrival earlier in the day, wearing an ethereal and feminine white floral summer dress Erdem, Hewson once again pulled out the stops for the premiere of her film Jay Kelly.
The film was directed by Noah Baumback, and stars George Clooney as a famous film star who embarks on an unexpectedly profound journey through Europe alongside his devoted manager Ron.
Hewson continued her homage to Old Hollywood, taking to the red carpet in a jaw-dropping black gown by Schiaparelli, from the French luxury brand's Couture collection.
The gown was crafted from a mix of black ruffles and a shimmering fabric and featured a full ruffled skirt, a corseted waist and black ruffles on the bust.
She paired the dramatic gown with an equally dramatic dark berry lipstick, and wore her hair pulled back into an up-do.
She walked the red carpet with her Jay Kelly co-stars including George Clooney, Laura Dern and Riley Keough, and posed for photos with her mother, Ali Hewson.
