The stars were out for day one of the Wimbledon Tennis Championships yesterday, as the glamorous event kicked off two weeks of matches and celebrity spotting.
Among them were some familiar faces, including Laura Whitmore in lemon yellow and Angela Scanlon, who looked chic and effortlessly cool in a pink co-ord - despite the intense London heat.
The podcaster and founder of jewellery brand frkl. looked typically stylish at the event, having consulted her followers on which outfit to go with for the day. In the end, it was a slinky silk pyjama-inspired set that won.
The Irishwoman wore the satin stripe Serena trousers by English designer Serena Bute, paired with a matching shirt with a stylish open back, which she wore tucked, both in the same pink and white stripe pattern. Posting on Instagram, Scanlon stressed that the outfit was "made of natural fibres", making it an ideal choice for the sweltering day.
She finished her look with white kitten heel shoes, dark oval glasses and a range of pieces from her jewellery line, including an elegant short chain necklace. An especially interesting addition was her handbag: a small brown textured bag in the shape of a bird's nest, complete with a cream bird on top.
She wore her hair slicked back into a chic bun and rounded out her look with a berry-hued lipstick and strong brows.
Scanlon attended the match with her husband, Roy Horgan, joking that it was the couple's "annual public outing".
