Caitríona Balfe was bang on trend as she attended the premiere for her latest film in New York City in a daring see-through knitted dress.
The Monaghan native turned heads at the event, which took place at Jazz at Lincoln Centre in the city.
The film follows a CIA crytographer whose wife is killed in a terrorist attack in London, prompting him to track down her killers, and also stars Rami Malek, Rachel Brosnahan and Laurence Fishburne.
As a former high fashion model who has walked the runway for everyone from Chanel and Louis Vuitton to Victoria's Secret, it's not surprising that Balfe has become known for her sleek and bold red carpet looks. Last night's look was no different.
Styled as always by Karla Welch, Balfe stepped out in a daring sheer outfit by Maria McManus, a luxury designer known for her committment to sustainable designs and practices. She wore a midi-length black open knit dress with a high neckline, thick black cuffs and an ombre effect at the hem.
She paired this with a black bra top, high waisted black pants and classic black patent leather stiletto heels. She continued the sustainable theme by finishing her look with statement pearl drop earrings by Ara Vartanian, a jeweller with a focus on responsibly sourced materials.
Her hair was styled by Gareth Bromwell, who created a slicked back twisted knot bun. Her makeup was done by Mary Wiles, who opted for a deep red lip, subtly filled in brows and a clear complexion.
