Barry Keoghan, Chappell Roan and Jared Leto were among the stars spotted at Valentino's Paris Fashion Week show, which took place inside a recreation of a public restroom in the heart of the city.
The space was fitted out with vivid red tiles, mirrors, sinks and a long row of stalls in a David Lynch-inspired set that creative director Alessandro Michele called "proudly political".
Having moved from Gucci to Valentino last year, this was Michele's second presentation and certainly caused a stir among the fashion set.

Models stepped out from the toilet cubicles, often stopping to check their makeup in the mirror, before passing through the right-coloured space.
The maximalist designs managed to stand out in the eye-catching room, with Michele presenting another version of his vision of luxury, blending old world glamour, antique patterns and provocative silhouettes.

Opulent designs featured shimmering satin gowns in harlequin-esque patterns overlayed onto lace body suits, an embellished gown with a cat motif on the chest, slouchy denim jeans paired with hooded caps and exaggerated red tops, and in menswear, business-chic trousers and shirts paired with an oversized fur jacket.
Retro design elements emerged in the accessories, with thick-rimmed sunglasses worn by many models, and vintage check patterns and flared trousers featured prominently.

The audience was as eye-catching as the models, with Irish actor Barry Keoghan sitting front row in a dazzling blue bomber jacket, accented with old school patches on the sleeves and a chunky heart-shaped brooch on the chest.
He paired this with a pale blue shirt, worn unbuttoned at the neck, and classic blue jeans, finishing his look with white trainers.

Chappell Roan made a jaw-dropping entrance, emerging onto the Parisian streets in a voluminous ball gown that spilled over onto the runway as she sat in the front row. It featured a simple black bodice accented with an oversized red bow, with puff sleeves and a full skirt embellished with ruffled and floral embroidery.
The star seemed to channell Marie Antoinette in her beauty look, wearing white face makeup, heavy berry-hued blush, drawn on pencil-thin eyebrows and a deep berry stained lip.

Also in the audience was Jared Leto, wearing a ruffled white dress shirt, a tan longline coat and a string of pearls, reminiscent of Michele's celebrated collections for Gucci, of which Leto was a constant supporter.

Fresh from her scene-stealing role in The White Lotus, perennial it-girl Parker Posey looked stunning in a heavily embroidered tapestry-style ensemble, pairing a pale green dress with a vintage-inspired short jacket. She sat in the front row with Yellowjackets star Sophie Thatcher, who shimmered in an embellished mini dress and pale pink lace tights.
