Espresso singer Sabrina Carpenter dazzled on the Grammys red carpet wearing a floor-length gown from Irish designer Jonathan Anderson.

With its sweeping, feather-lined train, and fluffy detailing below the waist, the ice-blue gown by JW Anderson evokes memories of 1950s Hollywood, and was heavily inspired by Shirley MacLaine's famous dress in What a Way To Go!

Costume designer Edith Head created the original number for the 1964 comedy along with a show-stopping wardrobe of creations that led the movie to become a camp classic.

Carpenter's dress features an elegant knot that leads into a diamond halterneck and ends in a jaw-dropping jewel hanging at Carpenter's lower back.

The beautiful piece was a custom design by Derry-born Anderson, a world-renowned designer who was recently named 'Designer of the Year' at the 2024 British Fashion Awards.

In addition to leading his eponymous brand, JW Anderson, the Magherafelt man is known for sitting at the helm of the esteemed Spanish label Loewe and has become famed for dressing celebrities including Zendaya, Ayo Edibiri, Daniel Craig, and many more.

Carpenter was styled by Jared Ellner for the 67th Grammy Awards, leaning into the old Hollywood glamour of the dress by wearing an impressive diamond ring on her right hand, diamond initial rings in SC on her left, and a pair of simple diamond drop earrings.

Hair stylist Laurie Heaps delivered a Monroe-esque updo - soft blonde curls looking effortlessly glamorous - while her nails sparkled with diamante detailing.

Speaking on the look, Heaps told RTÉ Lifestyle that she wanted the colour to be "bright and creamy, making sure it had that gorgeous, luminous blonde effect under the lights".

"Since we knew her hair had to go up to complement the dress, we were very intentional with the cut -keeping her bangs longer so they would frame her face beautifully when styled. It was all about creating balance and softness while still making a statement on the red carpet."

Carpenter's trademark full blush was in place while her bold brows, long lashes, and white eyeliner delivered doe eyes.
