Comedian and podcaster Joanne McNally attended the British Podcast Awards 2024 at Outernet London last night, September 26, wearing an eye-catching outfit comprised of Cher-inspired fringe, neon yellow nails, and a lip clutch.

The Dublin woman was nominated for 'Best Comedy Podcast' thanks to her work on the BBC's Who Replaced Avril Lavigne?

The tongue-in-cheek podcast delved into the bizarre conspiracy theory that Canadian singer Avril Lavigne died in 2003 only to be replaced by a body double named Melissa.

Although Avril (or should we say Melissa?) never publicly endorsed the show, the six-part series gained enough traction that it is now the first in a series of McNally investigations - her latest venture sees her crack open the case of potential Furby spies.

Sadly, Who Replaced Avril Lavigne? lost to From the Oasthouse, the latest work from the satirical world of Alan Partridge, a famed comedy character played by English actor Steve Coogan.

"Some lad called Alan Partridge won," McNally deadpanned to her Instagram followers. "Don't know who he is, never heard of him, but he sounds like a pr**k. And Alan didn't even turn up. I turned up, dressed like Cher, dressed up like a dog's dinner to collect. No sign of Alan!"

The comic was indeed dressed to the nines on the red carpet wearing a pair of Gyunel Couture trousers with dazzlig blue and silver fringe detailing.

Dressed by celebrity stylist Jennifer Michalski-Bray, McNally paired the statement trousers with a Vanity Nap bodysuit and a lip-shaped clutch from LuLu Guinness.

She accessorised with chunky chain necklaces from Bimba y Lola as well as some statement rings, chain bracelets, and hoop earrings from Tilly Sveas. The double finger ring came from Swarovski.

Make-up artist Liv Davey delivered finishing touches to the look, with rhinestone covered eye-liner, spikey lashes from Bonded Lashes, brow balm from Pink Fishe and a peachy glow courtesy of Doll Beauty's blush and highlight as well as Chanel's cream bronzer in 'les beiges'.
