Sabrina Carpenter swapped her glittering mini dresses for a pale green design by Loewe at the brand's dazzling Paris Menswear Fashion Week show, as one of the celebrities invited by Derry-born creative director Jonathan Anderson.

Fresh from unveiling his latest collection for his eponymous brand JW Anderson (including some Guinness-inspired designs), Anderson brought bold colour and edgy tailoring to Loewe's Paris Menswear Fashion Week catwalk show on Saturday.

Held in the Garde Républicaine's Célestins barracks in the 4th arrondissement, a cavernous space used for training horses in the stylish French capital, the runway was dotted with contemporary artworks by Paul Thek and Susan Sontag.

Thek's small mice creations from his 1975 Personal Effects of the Pied Piper Series and a 1966 copy of Sontag's Against Interpretation contrasted with the strikingly modern designs showcased by the Spanish luxury fashion house.

Models strutted their stuff wearing draped trousers, oversized slogan tops overflowing from jackets, slim turtleneck tops and cigarette trousers and shimmering chainmail vests, with many walking the space with metallic feathers adorning their foreheads.

Among the guests, Sabrina Carpenter led the style pack, wearing a relaxed and flowing pale green gown, featuring a high mock neck, cutouts on the sides and stomach, with an oversized belt buckle creating the illusion of a supersized belt.

Bridgerton's Luke Newton continued his streak of dazzling appearances, wearing an oversized double-breasted suit jacket and trousers in a faint pinstripe pattern.

Also among the stars were One Day actor Leo Woodall wearing a relaxed shirt and trousers, Jeff Goldblum in doubel denim and Baby Reindeer's Richard Gadd in a striking red jacket.
