On Tuesday, May 7, Dublin band Fontaines D.C. were invited on as the musical guest on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon.

Performing their new song, Starburster, band members Tom Coll, Carlos O'Connell, Conor Deegan, Conor Curley, and front man Grian Chatten brought their trademark post-punk look to the American late night talk show.

Chatten was exceptionally eye-catching wearing a leather pleated kilt and a tech pocket jacket with a white rose from Irish designer Simone Rocha's Autumn/Winter 2023 line.

Throughout their career, the award-winning band have opted to wear Irish designs while working in the States, supporting homegrown brands while taking centre stage.

In 2021, while attending the Grammys , guitarist Conor Curley opted for a bold cream suit covered in a dark brown floral design by "eco-punk" Belfast designer Lucinda Graham, while singer Grian Chatten donned a GAA-inspired piece from Irish designer Robyn Lynch's AW22 collection for the 2022 NME Awards.

With so many exciting Irish brands emerging in recent years, we can't wait to see which looks come next.
