Andrew Scott led the style pack at the Independent Spirit Awards 2024 tonight, wearing a radiant primrose yellow suit.
Hosted this year by Saturday Night Live alumnus Aidy Bryant, the ceremony is the primary awards event for the independent film and television community, and is hotly anticipated each year.
Marking it even more as an alternative take on the awards show, the ceremony takes place in a beachside tent, steps from the sand and surf in Santa Monica. Despite the beachy setting, stars still dress to impress.
The show will be streamed live on the YouTube pages of IMDb and Film Independent, and on Film Independent's X (formerly Twitter) channel.
Presenters on the night include our own Andrew Scott, Emma Corrin, Quinta Brunson and more, while Lily Gladstone will serve as Honorary Chair, as well as a Spirit nominee for her starring role in Killers of the Flower Moon.
Past Lives, May December and American Fiction lead the nominations with five each, including Best Feature, alongside All of Us Strangers - starring Irish stars Scott and Paul Mescal - We Grown Now and Passages.
