Cillian Murphy walks the red carpet of the DGA Awards

The 76th Directors' Guild of America Awards took place last night in Los Angeles' Beverly Hilton hotel, with stars from the big and small screens among the glamorous attendees.

The star-studded red carpet saw Oppenheimer actor Cillian Murphy look exceptionally stylish in a classic tux with a white bowtie, while Poor Things star Emma Stone dazzle in Givenchy couture.

Hosted once again by director Judd Apatow, the DGA Awards are an important night on the awards season calendar, as they are considered an important precursor to the Oscars.

This year's DGA Award for 'Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Theatrical Feature Film' for 2023 went to Christopher Nolan for his blockbuster hit Oppenheimer.

Celine Song took home the DGA Michael Apted Award for 'Outstanding Directorial Achievement of a First-Time Theatrical Feature Film Director' for her film Past Lives.

Peter Hoar won the DGA Award for 'Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Dramatic Series' for 2023 for The Last of Us episode, Long, Long Time, while Christopher Storer was awarded the DGA for 'Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Comedy Series' for The Bear episode called Fishes.
