Sharon Horgan made a dazzling entrance to the 2024 Emmy Awards, wearing a mix of vintage and contemporary pieces in a sultry and sophisticated look.
Honouring excellence in American television, an Emmy award is considered one of the four major American awards for performing arts and entertainment alongside the Grammy, Oscar and Tony Awards.
The annual ceremony is usually an outlier from the rest of awards season, taking place in September, but the strike action taken by Hollywood's writers and actors last year delayed the star-studded event.

The Bad Sisters creator and star brought her sharp and sophisticated sense of style to the 2024 Emmy Awards, where she was nominated for Best Actress for her role as Eva Garvey in the critically acclaimed black comedy.
She was also nominated alongside Dave Finkel Brett Baer for Writing for a Drama Series, and the show also picked up a nomination for Dearbhla Walsh for Directing for a Drama Series.
Nominated alongside Belle Ramsay, Elizabeth Moss and more, Horgan missed out on the award, which went to Succession's Sarah Snook. However, she certainly won in the style stakes.
Styled by Rachel Davis once again, Horgan wore a vintage George Chakra couture gown, which featured a deep V-neckline, ruffled skirt and sequin embellishments on the bustline and the skirt.
She paired this with a sleek tuxedo jacket by Bella Freud, and accessorised with shoes by Jimmy Choo, a classic black clutch bag by Lulu Guinness and statement gold earrings and necklace by Shaun Leane.
Her hair was styled into a voluminous bob, while her makeup was subtly smokey.
