Kylie Jenner dazzled in a monochrome corset dress at the Wall Street Journal Magazine 2023 Innovator Awards, held at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City last night.

The reality television star and entrepreneur was among a slew of famous faces attending the gala, many of whom similarly dressed head to toe in monochromatic looks on the night.

The Innovator Awards have been running since 2011. Each year, the Wall Street Journal selects a number of figures from the creative field to honour across categories like film, fashion, design and more.

Among the honorees this year were Jenner, musician SZA, director Martin Scorcese and actress Julia Louis-Dreyfus.

Jenner made an entrance, wearing a slinky corsetted gown. Although she has just launched her own fashion collection Khy, the youngest of the Kardashian clan opted instead for a custom gown by Italian fashion house Ferragamo.

The dress featured a form-fitting black PVC bustier with a large cut-out at the hip and a cinched in waist, and a muted jersey skirt that pooled at her feet. She accessorised with chunky gold jewellery and wore her raven hair in a sultry waved style.

The event also marked Kylie and Timothee Chalamet's first as a couple, and although the pair walked the yellow carpet separately, they sat together once at the ceremony.

Chalamet also opted for an all-black look, wearing a sleek black suit by Dolce and Gabbana with a matching black shirt and black shoes.

Black ensembles were the order of the night, it seems, as many celebrities walked the yellow carpet in striking monochromatic looks. SZA wore a cropped skirt and long-sleeved top from Masion Margiela, paired with white frilly socks and black stilettoes, while Louis-Dreyfus chose a black hourglass midi dress by Prada, which featured a ruffled white hem.
