Honouring the trailblazers and cultural tastemakers of the moment, TIME events always seem to attract a diverse and star-studded guest list.
Famous for the magazine's annual 100 Most Influential People in the World list, and accompanying gala, the global franchise has expanded to create the TIME Next Gala, in the hopes of celebrating 100 individuals who are defining the next generation of leadership.
Recognising artists, phenoms, leaders, advocates and innovators, this year's event featured appearances from Golden Globe-nominated actor Rachel Zegler, comedian Mae Martin, and Grammy award-nominated singer-songwriter Kelsea Ballerini.
Tyler James Williams, star of Abbot Elementary, gave a toast to the room, sharing sound advice he received from his mother:
"Everyone in this room, at some point or another, had to make a complicated choice to choose to do what they do uniquely. Inherently differently. Being unique is not a choice, but choosing to authentically present your uniqueness is."
Williams toasted to the decision to take a different path, even when the outcome is unknown: "May we all remain comfortable with the uncomfortable."
