Irish talent stood out on the Pride of Britain red carpet last night, as Angela Scanlon and Maura Higgins strutted their stuff at the glamorous gala event.

Now in its 24th year, the annual awards celebrate the achievements of truly remarkable people from across the UK and took place in London's Grosvenor House. Awards include the TSB Community Hero Award, ITV Fundraiser Of The Year, and Good Morning Britain Young Fundraiser of the Year.

Currently wowing audiences on Strictly Come Dancing, Scanlon wowed with her outfit too, stepping out with her dance partner Carols Gu in an oversized grey trouser suit, which featured slouchy trousers and a boxy blazer. She paired this with an embellished sheer white bustier with grey detailing on the bust.

She accessorised her look with towering white heels. For some sparkle, she added a pair of large pearl drop earrings from her jewellery brand frkl, and a chunky silver watch. Her red hair was waved and worn gathered up in a faux bob style.

Maura Higgins also upped the glamour, wearing a romantic and daring black and white two-piece. Channelling her inner princess, the Longford native wore a white bow-shaped bustier with a voluminous black ballgown skirt.

The star was styled by Ray Wooldridge, who joked on Instagram that she was the "dream" client but a "nightmare" friend, asking her for "more than 48 hours notice next time".

Her hair was styled into a flowing 60s-inspired half-up, half-down style, with the hair slicked back on her crown and pulled into a black bow. Her makeup was sultry and feline, with a sharp flick of black eyeliner, rosy blush and a pink lip. She added a touch of sparkle with some diamond drop earrings.
