Nicola Coughlan was among the dazzling stars at the Ambassador Theatre Group summer party, which took place yesterday in London's Kensington Palace Gardens.

Sex and the City star Sarah Jessica Parker, Matthew Broderick, Cara Delevingne and Charlotte Tilbury were among the famous faces gathered at the annual event, which honoured Parker and Broderick, who have both performed on stage throughout their careers.

With Carrie Bradshaw herself in attendance, it's no wonder that Coughlan made a statement with her outfit. The Bridgerton star oozed vampy glamour, stepping out in a sultry and slinky black slip dress.

The gown, by luxury brand Rodarte, featured a plunging neckline in intricate black lace, a sleek silhouette in black satin and retro-inspired puff sleeves. She accessorised her look with black peep-toe heels and a mini black handbag, letting her striking gown do all the talking.

Her makeup, by Ciara O'Shea, brought a touch of colour to her otherwise monochrome outfit. O'Shea gave Coughlan a smokey blue eyeliner, with a glossy nude lipstick and a swirl of peachy blush to enhance her complexion.

Hairstylist Sophoe Sugarman styled Coughlan's hair into a relaxed, tousled up-do, with her short hair pulled back and long layers framing her face.

Elsewhere on the night, Parker made an entrance in a dazzling floor-length green chiffon gown, which featured a V-neckline, a nipped in waist and flowing fluted sleeves. She paired it with a shimmering silver handbag and pale green strappy heels.

Imelda May also flew the flag for Irish on the night, wearing a simple and classic burgundy slip dress with a fluted hem, paired with gold jewellery and black pointed toe heels with metallic accents.

Delevingne went for a classic tailoring look, wearing a pinstripe suit with a cropped jacket and slim trousers, paired with a simple black t-shirt.
