Paula Rowan had not one, but two creations featured on the sixth episode of the Sex and the City reboot, entitled 'Bomb Cyclone', which saw the stars thrown into a typically chic and fashionable – albeit dramatic – winter wonderland, where arguably the hardest working accessories were Rowan's gloves.

Designed in Dublin and crafted by third generation glovers in Naples, Rowan has had designs worn by everyone from Lady Gaga and Dua Lipa, to Helen Mirren and Maya Jama.

The 'Molly' design – a silk-lined creation featuring flared cuffs that sit over the wearer's hand, showing just a glimpse of fingertip, a silhouette inspired by petticoats – was worn by actress Nicole Ari Parker who plays the character of Lisa Todd Wexley. This pair costs €625.

The dramatic gloves were well-paired by wardrobe stylist Danny Santiago, who styled them with a black and white Balmain cape, a hot pink Valentino tote bag, a Monrowe hat, a chunky Dior sweater, Celine leather skirt and cream Dries Van Noten boots.

Kristin Davis, who plays SATC star Charlotte York Goldenblatt, wore the stunning 'Barbara' design, which features a thick tuft of luxury Mongolian shearling at the cuff that extends to the elbow. This pair costs €750.

Posting on Instagram about the inclusion, Rowan wrote: "I am so proud to see my designs featured in such an iconic & fashion driven show known for its exuberant glamour & trend setting style.

"The costumes have been meticulously thought out and the character's looks are immaculate, glamorous & polished.

"I watched SATC growing up & am truly delighted that my designs are now part of such an iconic fashion driven show."

Rowan's designs recently showed up on the red carpet, as Bridgerton star and Galway native Nicola Coughlan strutted her stuff at Netflix's Tudum event in Brazil in June, wearing Rowan's striking turquoise 'Montserrat' style.
