Beyoncé has teased the launch of a new eau de parfum, her first fragrance in almost 10 years.

Fresh off the launch of the US leg of her Renaissance World Tour, which has already grossed $154 million in Europe alone, Beyoncé has made yet another foray into the beauty industry with her latest creation.

Ignoring calls for "the visuals" for her Renaissance album, the star teased the perfume with a cryptic page on her website. The as-yet untitled perfume will be released to US and Canadian customers only in November 2023, and will be "encased in art", a clue to the design and quality of the scent.

Created in France, the perfume has been "crafted and designed by Beyoncé", and will have gourmand top notes of clementine and golden honey – a nod to her nickname Queen Bee. Heart notes are floral-heavy, with rose absolue and jasmine sambac, while the base notes are rich and sultry, with Namibian myrrh and golden amber.

The scent will cost $160, according to the website, and will include a "special gift" for customers while stocks last.

Of course, this wouldn't be the star's first rodeo when it comes to fragrance. Beyoncé was among the forerunners of celebrity brands, launching her bestselling perfumes Heat in 2010, Pulse in 2011 and Rise in 2014.

It also comes just months after Beyoncé seemed to tease the launch of a haircare line, posting a photo of her styling her own tresses on her Instagram.

"How many of you knew my first job was sweeping hair in my mama's salon?" the star wrote in the post. "Destiny's Child got our start by performing for clients while they were getting their hair done. I was exposed to so many different kinds of entrepreneurial women in her salon.

"Having learned so much on my hair journey, I've always dreamed of carrying on her legacy. I can't wait for you to experience what I've been creating."
