A new series of Bridgerton means more steamy romance, more fabulous costumes and – crucially – more glamorous red carpet appearances from star Nicola Coughlan.
The Galway native has a lead role in the third season of the popular Netflix show, and has already started strong on the press events, dazzling onlookers with her elegant outfits.
Her latest appearance was at Tudum, Netflix's annual preview event held this year in São Paulo, where Coughlan gave fans a glimpse at the third season of the hit steamy period series. Also previewed on the night was a first look at Avatar: The Last Airbender, and the fourth season of Emily in Paris.

Posting on her Instagram account, Coughlan wrote: "I'm not sure I’ll ever be able to process being on stage in front of 15,000 of you but Brazil you could not have given me a warmer welcome and it’s been beyond an honour to meet so many of you and feel the love you have for Bridgerton.
"Now can we have a little commotion for the dress?"
The dress in question was by Mara Hoffman, a New York City-based designer who is known for her sculptural designs and abstract and vibrant prints. Coughlan wore the Leonara, a black column dress featuring a sweetheart neckline, a cinched waist, a slit in the front and rounded, off-the-shoulder sleeves.

Coughlan, styled by Aimee Croysdill, paired the classic black dress with statement turquoise leather 'Monserrat' gloves by Irish designer Paula Rowan, which gave the outfit a touch of Regency elegance worthy of her role in Bridgerton.
She also wore pointed toed heels by Christian Louboutin, and some statement jewellery from YSSO.
Her blonde tresses were styled into an elegant up-do by Saulo Fonseca, while her makeup, by Carlos Rose, was glowy and romantic, with a fresh pink blush and striking cat eye eyeliner.
