Kate Middleton has been brightening up her wardrobe now that summer has arrived, having dazzled in everything from a reworn baby blue Elie Saab ensemble at a Buckingham Palace garden party, a cobalt blue evening gown for her cameo appearance during the Eurovision broadcast, and most recently a sunshine yellow blazer for an engagement this week.

The Princess of Wales is continuing her rainbow-inspired style streak with her latest look, returning to a retro silhouette that she has favoured over the years.

Kate stepped out for a visit to the Anna Freud centre to mark Mental Health Week, wearing a stunning forest green 1940's inspired tea dress.

The Princess was there to meet pupils who have helped design the organisation's 'anxiety toolkit' for young people, and to discuss the impact of mental health on their studies.

Her deep green dress was by luxury brand Suzannah London, and featured a fit and flare silhouette, cropped and slightly voluminous sleeves, a button-down front and elegant pin tucks along the waist. It also featured a matching belt and lapels on the collar.

Kate has worn the white version of the gown on multiple occasions.

She accessorised this with a pair of gem-studded silver earrings from Accessorize, as well as a pair of Alessandra Rich slingback heels in white with a contrasting black toe.

Her hair was styled into voluminous waves, while her makeup was kept simple, with a subtle smokey eye and a pink nude lipstick.
