Meghan Markle has certainly returned to her Hollywood starlet roots when it comes to fashion, and proved her style credentials once again as she attended a glamorous award ceremony in New York City last night.

The Duchess of Sussex was amongst the honourees at the 2023 Women of Vision Awards in New York City, which took place in the Ziegfeld Ballroom last night.

The Duchess of Sussex attended the ceremony – which was established by the Ms. Foundation, founded by pioneering feminist Gloria Steinem – with her husband Prince Harry and her mother Doria Ragland.

Markle was there to pick up the award for "her global advocacy to empower and advocate on behalf of women and girls".

She made a bold statement on the red carpet, wearing a dazzling gold patterned midi dress by Johanna Ortiz, featuring a sweetheart neckline, a column silhouette, a daring leg slit and a keyhole cutout on the bust.

She stuck to the metallic theme of her outfit, accessorising her look with strappy gold Tom Ford heels, a small gold clutch, gold J.Crew earrings, and a stack of gold and diamond bracelets.

Her makeup was bronzed and glowy, while her chestnut brown hair was styled into relaxed waves and trailed over one shoulder.

Harry, meanwhile, looked dapper in a classic midnight blue suit, worn with a white shirt and a light blue tie. Doria looked elegant in a black minidress with pleated sheer bishop sleeves and sophisticated slingback pumps.
