Honouring the most spectacular performances on the silver screen since 1929, the Academy Awards are one of the most star-studded and prestigious events on the film industry's calendar.
Tonight, the world's most glamorous stars will swarm the Dolby Theatre in the Hollywood & Highland Center on Sunday to watch the hotly anticipated 95th Academy Awards.
A host of Irish talent will be walking the red carpet, including Colin Farrell, Barry Keoghan and Brendan Gleeson, all nominated for their roles in Martin McDonagh's The Banshees of Inisherin, as well as Kildare native Paul Mescal, who is nominated for his role in Charlotte Wells' Aftersun.

In the run up to the Oscars, each of these leading men has stood out on red carpets, establishing themselves as front runners not just in cinema, but in fashion too. No doubt all eyes will be on what suave and bold outfits the nominees will be wearing.
When it comes to menswear, things have changed dramatically in recent years. Long gone are the endless black tuxedos of years gone by, and in their stead are expressive and inventive takes on formal wear.
Nominated for Best Actor for his role in Charlotte Wells' Aftersun, Paul Mescal has been dazzling on red carpets during this year's award season, and tonight was no different.
Styled by Felicity Kay, the Kildare native made a statement wearing a white tuxedo jacket and white shirt with flared black trousers by Gucci. He wore a black dickie bow and added a pop of colour with a red rose on his lapel, as well as some sparkle with a circular diamond brooch.
Known for his love of a bold and bright suit, Barry Keoghan – nominated for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Banshees of Inisherin – walked the red carpet wearing in a lavender suit with eccentric floral buttons.

Also nominated in the Best Supporting Actor category for the same film, Brendan Gleeson looked dapper in in a shimmering brown suit jacket and black trousers. Co-star Colin Farrell, who is nominated for Best Actor, looked suave in a classic black tuxedo as he walked the red carpet with his son Henry Tadeusz Farrell.
Paul Dano, who starred in The Fabelmans, brought some sparkle to the Oscars, wearing a suit jacket embellished with red gems, paired with a pale pink shirt and bow tie. Bringing even more colour to the event, Dwayne Johnson looked striking in a shimmering pale peach tuxedo jacket.

Of course, it wouldn't be the Oscars without a few classic tuxes. Brendan Fraser, up for Best Actor for his role in The Whale, looked especially polished in a sleek black tuxedo by Giorgio Armani, with satin lapels and a crisp white shirt. Austin Butler, nominated for his leading role in Elvis, wore a structured and angular double breasted black suit by Saint Laurent.

Meanwhile, Pedro Pascal got experimental with the classic tuxedo, wearing a style with wide-legged, louche trousers. Harvey Guillén went bold in a shimmering suit by in Christian Siriano featuring jacquard print and a flowing coat.
