Styled by Felicity Kay, Maynooth man Paul Mescal has been making quite the impression on red carpets recently, wearing a stand-out selection of high-end designs.
From Prada and Gucci suits to Vivienne Westwood shirts and embellished Simone Rocha jackets, the Aftersun actor has been showcasing some increasingly chic looks in the run-up to the Academy Awards, where he will go up against Brendan Fraser (The Whale), Austin Butler (Elvis), Bill Nighy (Living), and fellow Irishman Colin Farrell (The Banshees of Inisherin) in the category of Best Actor.

On 3 March, he joined US talk show host Jimmy Kimmel to discuss the pronunciation of his name (Mescal, not Mezcal), his friendship with Aftersun co-star Frankie Corio, and a recent backstage run-in with Nicole Kidman. You can watch it back here.
For the TV appearance, style consultant Kay dressed the Oscar nominee in a beautiful ensemble from Irish designer Simone Rocha - a recurring favourite of the actor.
The blue slim-fit shirt, which features a beaded round collar can be found here for £450. The piece was styled with simple black trousers, black shoes, and accessories from Cartier and Manolo Blahnik.

Mescal has prided himself on wearing Rocha's designs in the past, both at the 2023 SAG Awards and the Irish premiere of God's Creatures.
Speaking with RTÉ Lifestyle's Charlotte Ryan at the premiere in February, the 27-year-old said he was delighted to wear "one of our own who I absolutely love".
"I'm so delighted to get to wear her here at the Irish premiere", he continued, before laughing "but yeah, my wonderful stylist Felicity Kay sorts me out!"
"The world of fashion, I feel like not the most equipped to answer other than I'm really enjoying starting out into that world, and getting to wear Simone here in Dublin is cool."
