Bridgeton star Nicola Coughlan attended the Newport Beach Film Festival 2023 at The Londoner Hotel on February 16, where she picked up the award for 'Best Newcomer'.
Actors Micheal Ward, Dafne Keen, Lydia West, and Aimee Lou-Wood were honoured alongside the Galway woman as 'Breakout Honourees'.
Styled by Aimée Croysdill, Coughlan wore a black latex dress from Christopher Kane with a pair of diamond hoop earrings and a dazzling ring from Tasaki, as well as some sky-high peep-toe heels from Jimmy Choo.
The ankle-length latex creation, which the brand cheekily named the 'Puritan' dress, is from the autumn/winter 2022 collection.

Taking to Instagram, the Derry Girls star thanked designer Christopher Kane for giving her a "latex masterpiece", which she referred to as "PVC perfection".
Make-up artist Neil Young delivered 'vintage vibes' on the night, giving Coughlan a dark lip using Mac's retro matt liquid lipstick in shade 'Gemz' as well as a beautiful light smokey eye using the Amber Times 9 Palette, and lashings of mascara.
Hair stylist Patrick Wilson was on hand to sweep Coughlan's blonde locks back into a middle parting with simple waves.

Elsewhere on the night, Maynooth actor Paul Mescal attended the event wearing a smart navy suit, which he paired with a nautical t-shirt from Vivienne Westwood and a pair of black brogues from Acne Studios as well as a watch and brooch from Cartier.
The Oscar-nominee was honoured as an 'Artist of Distinction' on the night. Gemma Chan, Lydia West, Letitia Wright, Taron Egerton, Naomi Ackie, and Toby Jones were honoured in similar fashion, while legendary actor Bill Nighy was presented with an Icon Award.
