The Grammys, billed as the biggest night in music, took place tonight in Los Angeles' Crypto.com Arena – formerly the Staples Center.

Now in its 65th year and hosted for the third time in a row by comedian Trevor Noah, the ceremony was a glamorous event as always, with a dazzling guest list to match.

Beyoncé, Kendrick Lamar and Adele are just some of the nominees on the night, with nine, eight and seven nods this year, respectively. Harry Styles, Lizzo, Steve Lacy and more are set to perform, too.

Last year's ceremony had been postponed from the original date, 31 January, due to a surge in Covid-19 cases in Los Angeles. However, it made a triumphant return to Hollywood this evening and the celebrities pulled out the stops with their looks.

All eyes were on Beyoncé, who led the pack with nine nominations to her name across categories including album, song and record of the year. If she won three, she would tie with conductor Georg Solti, who holds the record for most overall wins. Four would beat his record.

The Grammys has always been an event that moved the dial when it comes to celebrity fashion, as the industry's brightest stars make bold statements on the red carpet.

Ceremonies over the years have given us Harry Styles' leather tuxedo and feather boa, Cardi B in vintage Mugler and Jennifer Lopez's green Versace gown that led to the invention of Google Images, so the standard is always high.
