Kylie Jenner wore an incredibly eye-catching ensemble to the 2023 Schiaparelli Haute Couture Spring Summer show as part of Paris Fashion Week.
The 25-year-old wore an unusual design by Creative Director Daniel Roseberry that featured a life-sized faux lion head - a pre-release from the label's animalistic collection - along with a strapless black velvet gown, and a pair of Schiaparelli sling-backs with golden embossed toes.
Posting a photo of the outfit to Instagram, Jenner wrote: "BEAUTY AND THE BEAST. thank you @danielroseberry and @schiaparelli for such a special morning. wow i loved wearing this faux art creation constructed by hand using manmade materials. beautiful beautiful".
According to Schiaparelli's Instagram account, the 'Inferno Couture' is inspired by Dante's Inferno, with Roseberry reimagining the leopard, the lion, and the she-wolf in the collection "representing lust, pride, and avarice respectively".
Naomi Campbell, Irina Shayk, and Shalom Harlow were just some of the models spotted walking in the show, each wearing faux animal heads that were hand-painted and made from foam, resin, wool, and silk faux fur.

Despite the fact that these unusual pieces are fake, however, the realistic look has not sat well with some fashion fans, many of whom have taken to Instagram to share their thoughts.
One wrote: "The creation of the heads is amazing, but from the lens of creativity, it looks like someone pulled an animal skin off of the wall of a big game hunter's trophy room and wore it as a joke,", while another posted: "You don't have to be an animal lover to know that this is all wrong on so many different levels."
Other celebrities in attendance at the show included Diane Kruger, Chiara Ferragni, Emily in Paris actress Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, and Doja Cat.
Truly willing to commit to a look while sitting front row, Doja Cat had 30,000 crimson Swarovski crystals applied to her face and body.
Makeup artist Pat McGrath hand-applied the crystals over the course of five hours for a "shimmering, scintillating and subversive look.
