Britain's Prince Harry and Meghan Markle arrived at the 2022 Ripple of Hope Award Gala at the Hilton Midtown in New York on December 6, 2022.
The couple was presented with the Ripple of Hope Award from the Robert F Kennedy Human Rights organisation for their racial justice, mental health, and social impact initiatives through their Archewell Foundation.

According to the body, honourees are found in those who have demonstrated "an unwavering commitment to social change and worked to protect and advance equity, justice, and human rights".
"Our hope with this award is to inspire a new generation of leadership in the arts, where diverse up-and-coming talent have a platform to have their voices heard and their stories told," the couple said in a statement.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were recognized alongside Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, late NBA legend Bill Russell, and others.

While attending the prestigious event, Markle wore an off-the-shoulder white dress with full-length sleeves and drape detailing, which was custom-made by Louis Vuitton.
The former actress and activist who is set to appear in the couple's upcoming tell-all Netflix show, aptly named Harry & Meghan, accessorised the simple look with an aquamarine ring that once belonged to the late Princess Diana. Meghan previously wore the ring at her 2018 royal wedding reception.
Delivering yet another chic and elegant look, Markle complemented the dress with a pair of sparkly drop earrings and pulled her hair back into a simple updo. She finished the look with a pair of simple pointed-toed black stilettos.
