Laura Whitmore, one of our most celebrated and stylish exports, flew the flag for Ireland at the 2022 British Fashion Awards, which were held in London's Royal Albert Hall.
Wearing an Irish design, the presenter walked the star-studded red carpet alongside Florence Pugh, Tom Daley, Rita Ora, Maya Jama, Tilda Swinton as well as fellow Irish presenter Angela Scanlon.
The event, one of the most anticipated moments of the global fashion calendar, celebrates fashion at the intersection of culture and is a global entertainment platform for brands, creatives, designers, artists, and tastemakers who come together to celebrate the industry.
Whitmore looked every inch the fashion darling in a design from Irish-born art director and celebrity stylist Graham Cruz, a man famous for creating dynamic and captivating looks for global stars including Jennifer Lopez and Paris Hilton.
Styled by Emma Lane, the presenter paired the 'Tiger' bodice with a pair of black cigarette pants and a sky-high pair of black strappy heels.
Celebrity manicurist Michelle Class completed the metallic look with gold tip nails which matched her collection of chunky gold rings and earrings, while make-up artist Brooke Simons delivered a bronzed look and burnt orange eyeshadow.
Elsewhere on the red carpet, Irish presenter Angela Scanlon wore a silk organza open-heart dress with a gingham puff sleeve shirt from Irish designer Simone Rocha. She paired the look with a pair of statement pearl earrings and a matching micro perspex pearl egg bag, also from Rocha, along with a pair of burgundy platform heels.
Another woman on the red carpet was Irish activist Sinead Burke who was awarded the 'Leader of Change' award in the ‘People’ category. She chose a black Prada dress with feather detailing paired with a pair of balck heels with bows.
