The annual Governors Awards were established to balance the desire to honor individuals from the industry without worrying about the time constraints of the Oscars.

Pulled from the Spring/Summer 2023 line, the white dress featured dramatic sheer panels decorated with shimmering polkadots and gold tassels.
The full-length dress was accessorised with a bold statement necklace from Tiffany & Co and a pair of white platform heels.
Hair stylist Peter Lux gave the Marvel star's hair a sleek wet look while make-up artist Alex Babsky ensured that Pugh's eye's shimmered in gold.
