Influencer and presenter Suzanne Jackson has announced she has stepped down as the CEO of her brands, SoSu and Dripping Gold.
Jackson made the announcement in the Sunday Business Post, telling the publication she felt she had "done all I can" with the brand.
Caroline Dalton, the former head of buying for Primark, will be taking over the position.
Jackson founded the brand in 2015, leading it to become one of the most recognisable Irish cosmetics brand and one of the first to be founded by an Irish influencer. In eight years, the company has released over 100 products and is sold in 1,000 pharmacies across the country, as well as Penneys outlets.
It's been worn by many celebrities, including supermodel Winnie Harlow and Jesy Nelson.
Dripping Gold, a partner brand, was established in 2018, offering a line of tanning products, one of which - Wonder Water - has sold over one million units to date.
Jackson says she plans to remain a part of the company, with a focus on areas of product development and delivery.
Speaking about Dalton, Jackson said: "Caroline will bring a strong set of leadership skills to help to build out the strategy and direction for the brand's planned growth.
"Her particular passion for the beauty industry is clear, and with her support, SOSU Cosmetics plans to invest further in resource and infrastructure to continue to grow the business both at home and abroad."
Posting about the announcement on her Instagram account, Jackson said: "I'm so proud of the two brands success & achievements to date.
"We have a fantastic loyal customer base & audience, who continues to be the centre & focus of both businesses and I want to take this opportunity to thank you all for your continued support of me & the brands - it never goes unnoticed and I appreciate it so much."
She praised Dalton's experience in business, saying: "I am humbled to be working alongside Caroline and to be able to hand over the reigns of my companies to another woman in business. Thank you Caroline for coming on this journey with me. I can't wait for our next steps together."
