Kate Middleton was in her element as she made a stylish appearance to present an award for exceptional British design in London.
Always one to dress on theme, the Duchess of Cambridge made an impression with her own ensemble, choosing a striking forest green dress to present the Queen Elizabeth II Award for British Design at London's Design Museum.
The award was first presented in 2018, when Queen Elizabeth II herself attended London Fashion Week and awarded the prize to Richard Quinn, whose designs have become known as go-to looks for everyone from Cardi B and Kendall Jenner, to Nicola Coughlan and Kylie Minogue.
The award highlights the role fashion plays in diplomacy and society, something Kate understands particularly well as a member of the Royal Family who has used fashion as a form of communication.
While at the event, Kate met with up-and-coming designers who have benefitted from grants from the British Fashion Council, who hosted the event, and watched a presentation of designs before revealing the winner.
Kate awarded the prize to Saul Nash, who designs clothes using innovative materials and incorporates elements of performance and technical design.
For the event, Kate wore a forest green midi dress by Edeline Lee, a luxury brand known for its pieces that are created with professional women in mind. The Pedernal Dress features a high mock neckline, slight cowl draping, mid-length sleeves with ribbon ties and a flared hem.
The fabric is textured and flowed with each step. The dress also features a self belt accented with a striking gold buckle.
She accessorised her look with an emerald green suede clutch bag by Emmy London, the Natasha Clutch, as well as emerald green Rebecca Heels, also by Emmy London. She added a 60s flair to her look with the Nadia Irena Maya earrings, an intricately crafted set of dangling gold earrings.
She wore her hair blow dried straight and tucked behind her ears, while her makeup was fresh and natural.
