Kate Middleton looked effortlessly glamorous while stepping out for a visit to a number of maternity healthcare organisations yesterday.

The Duchess of Cambridge dressed to the nines for the occasion, which was also her first joint engagement with Princess Anne. They visited Royal College of Midwives and the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists, two of Princess Anne's and Kate's patronages, respectively, which have opened a joint hub.

They took part in a roundtable discussion about inequalities when it comes to maternity care, and met with experts and midwives across the organisation.

Kate wore a striking dress by coveted brand Self Portrait, featuring a blazer top and a sophisticated fluted skirt. The Duchess wore the Tailored Crepe Midi Dress, which features a heavy crepe blazer in a soft oatmeal shade, with an hourglass silhouette, intricate embroidery, fabric buttons and a matching belt.

This is attached to a matching skirt in a feminine fluted silhouette, that fell just below her knees.

She carried a simple nude suede clutch bag by Emmy London, as well as matching nude suede court heels to tie the outfit together.

She wore a stunning pearl necklace and earring combo for the occasion, opting for the Nura Pearl Necklace by her go-to designer Monica Vinader. She matched this with her gold Kiki McDonough hoops, which she dressed up by adding her Annoushka pearl drop earrings onto them.

Her hair was kept long and loose, blow dried straight with a subtle curl to the ends. Her makeup was fresh and tonal, with a subtle flick of eyeliner and a nude lipstick.
