Honouring the most spectacular performances on the silver screen since 1929, the Oscars are one of the most star-studded and prestigious events on the Hollywood calendar.
The world's most glamorous stars lit up the the Dolby Theatre in the Hollywood & Highland Center on Sunday, March 27, 2022 for the 94th Academy Awards, turning heads with some of the best red carpet looks of the year.
But as dazzling as the ceremony was, the Vanity Fair Oscar Party is where the stars truly let their fashion flags fly. Held for the seventh year in a row at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills, and hosted by Vanity Fair editor-in-chief Radhika Jones, it is the hottest after party in the celebrity calendar.
The Vanity Fair carpet had already started to fill with famous faces before the Oscars ceremony had properly gotten started, with Rita Ora leading the pack in an ornate gown by Miss Sohee, with a matching embroidered cape.
Joe Jonas made a statement in a stunning black suit embellished with white crystals by Louis Vuitton, while his wife Sophie Jonas complemented her growing baby bump with a striking red high necked gown with a flounced skirt that fell from the waist.
Jessica Alba looked classic in an elegant navy A-line gown by Carolina Herrera, featuring an intricately embroidered bodice and tulle skirt, while Gabrielle Union-Wade looked sultry in a chocolate brown semi-sheer dress from Valentino's couture collection.
