Kate Middleton debuted another stunning evening gown while in Jamaica, on day five of her Caribbean tour, alongside Prince William.
Kate and her husband Prince William are touring the Caribbean, visiting Belize, Jamaica and the Bahamas from March 19 to 26, to mark the Queen's Platinum Jubilee. They spent their first full day of engagements visiting a cacao farm and taking part in the Festival of Garifuna Culture in Hopkins, while so far on their second leg they've partied it up playing music and gone scuba diving.
Last night, they got dolled up once more for a formal dinner hosted by Jamaica's Governor General, Sir Patrick Allen and his wife Lady Patricia Allen.
Held at King's House, the Governor General’s official residence, it was a glitzy affair, so there's no wonder Kate pulled out a knockout look for the occasion.
Kate wore a rich emerald green gown by Jenny Packham, an old reliable for the Duchess when it comes to formal events. She chose the Ruffle Off-the-Shoulder Illusion Gown, which features an A-line silhouette, oversized ruffle at the neckline, fitted bodice, a sweeping princess skirt and delicate beading and embellishments across the waist and neckline.
The opulent gown was made even more glamorous by the addition of a set of jewellery borrowed from the Queen, as Kate wore pieces from HM's Emerald Tassel Parure. The maximalist set included dangling earrings and a bracelet, with diamonds and emeralds set in gold in a design of knots and tassels with emerald ends.
Kate also wore her royal orders, special honors conferred by the Queen, including her Royal Family Order of Queen Elizabeth II.
Her hair was styled into an intricate up-do to let the dress and jewels do the talking, with her long locks braided and coiled into an elaborate knot. Her makeup was fresh and neutral, with a gold eyeshadow and a nude lipstick.
